This candlestick was made during Joseon Dynasty(1392~1897, Korea). The ten traditional symbols of longevity lay in the candlestick's main body in the original reference.

These little details make the candlestick more elegant. If you have seen the original, you may find many more details on that.
As the time passed by, it was gone rusty.
But the design is never gone outdated.
This sophisticated work still makes us surprised.
The most unique part of this candle is the poem. Here's the translation.

粧來金鐵尺餘身
쇠를 곱게 꾸며 한 자 남짓한 크기로
Refining the steel, made it a foot long.
冶鑄奇功箇箇神
있는 공 다 들여 만들었으니 하나하나 신비롭도다
With every ounce of effort poured, each piece full of wonder.
自惜光陰如過客
나그네 스쳐가듯 빨리 타버리는 촛불이나
Candlelight flickers out swiftly as passers-by,
憑渠欲問夜遊人
너와 더불어 긴 밤 지새우는 이가 누구던고
Who would be the one to share a long night with you
